Directorate of Archeology, Regional Director's Office, Khulna: Directed by the Department of Archeology, under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.The Department of Archeology is engaged in the renovation, research, archaeological excavation and research of the country's antiquities in the light of the Antiquities Act-1968 (Amendment-1976). At present there are seven ninety-five sites, including Khulna and Barisal Division, seven museums, under Khulna Regional Office.Through those museums and places of worship, visitors, tourists and researchers are provided services.
